Established in 2010, COBRA9 x Leigh Surveyors Race Team are proud to be one of the longest tenured elite racing teams in Australia. This year is all about living in the now and ripping in. Bringing the fun, animating races, getting in front of the camera and doing some damage. Creating memories that will last forever. It's good stuff, but then again, that's bike racing.

BEN CARMAN
Kind Carman. The scientist. Bears a mo that Einstein would savour. Loves a long breakaway. Softly spoken in the streets, absolute assassin in the pelo.
SAM JENNER
Probably the best blonde cyclist with a mo to come from rural NSW. Definitely our best road captain since Mitch Neumann. With such boots to fill, Sam is ready to crack heads and do some damage.
OLIVER SIMS
Conceived in Hobart back in 2009 (COBRA9 that is, Ollie might have just made it out of the pushchair by that point), it’s only right for us to diversify the team’s gene pool with the inclusion of our very own Tasmanian devil.
CHRISTIAN TUMINELLO
Cavill Ave Christian. Bringing Gold Coast swagger and confidence in spades to a breakaway near you. Dreams of sleeve tats, spray tans and Harleys, one can only assume.
JAKE CAWTHORN
A fantastic role model and team player, Carrara’s Stefan Kung proved his mettle and then some at Grafton earlier this year, parrying the blows of the larger squads to secure a finish at the pointy end of the field.
LIAM CUTHBURTSON
Hailing from the latte-sipping retirement capital of Queensland, Liam is chomping at the bit to inflict some pain on the bunch. A rouleur in every sense of the word, this young man froths açai bowls and day trips to the Big Pineapple.
NICK PEDLER
Old dog, new tricks. Nick brings mountain bike skills and aesthetic pins to road racing and we’re stoked to have him repping the red and white once again in 2025. Kit always crisp, intent always full gas. Never pack filler.
ROHAN HAYDON-SMITH
The Return of the King would’ve been wrapped up in well under three hours had Gondor had this guy at their disposal. With heaps of experience on the track, you can be sure that Rohan will have those left turns absolutely nailed.
REN BAO TSEN
Quiet, softly spoken, explosive… Ren is none of these things. Sporting Malaysia’s most impeccable mullet, it’s maximum business and maximum party every time from this chill guy.
